On Feb 5th, a fundraiser was held in the name of Danny Thorsen — an original member of Shasta Classics Car Club back in 1988 — at Shasta Lanes, to benefit the Michael J. Fox Parkinsons Foundation. The members above showed up for bowling and many other members came to enjoy the day (and buy raffle tickets). Danny bowled in a league at Shasta Lanes and many from his league also came and bowled. Shasta Lanes did not charge lineage for the bowling, which meant that all proceeds will go to fight Parkinsons. Between the bowling and the raffles, $1,700 was collected for the cause.
